Personally, I've been rocking with a Rally Tyro 2 Pro for about a year (I bought a pair for about 50 bucks each at a slight discount). I can't say I've had much issues with their performance--though I have noticed some annoying wear and it seems some issues are starting to appear. Maybe it's because I'm younger and have less readily available disposable income (the life of a poor college kid amirite) but the highest I could reasonably see myself spending on a paddle is maybe $100.

Hello! A few grad school classmates and I have been getting into pickleball as a bit of stress relief this semester. We have one set of cheap-o paddles between us and want to upgrade without spending our respective food budgets for the rest of the year, so I figured I'd check if anybody in this community has "high-end" paddles they don't use anymore and would be willing to part with for a low cost? TIA!

I don't think we have specific paddle criteria although I'd be curious to try one of the elongated styles.

Used Paddles?

What arrived was not what is pictured.

5 player and said it’s every bit as good as his Z5 that he started out with that costs almost half as much. I am just a lowly borderline 3.5 player but strongly recommended it as well.

Are these paddles good enough for starters?

Tho a beginner, I knew I loved Pickleball, and needed a paddle for when I went to courts that did not provide a paddle. This one has been OK. Next time I would go lighter and pay more attention to the handle. That said, I'm hitting passing shots, have a decent serve, and am countering opponents spins
