 He'S got two water bottles on the pack right now. These are fully adjustable, both top and bottom two side hit pockets which we love. We'Ve got a pocket knife and one over here and what's in the other one, a snack in the other one, so these fit a granola bar almost perfectly so those are really nice turn these on the back. We'Ve got two side: pockets they've got elastic at the top, so they really hold water bottles in nice and well, even these nice, big ones that we have there are adjustable side, strap so, depending on how much you have in the bag, you can tighten and loosen Those as needed so that it has a nice snug fit on the child back pocket

 I would like to talk about some of the features i don't like on here um. I wish this was more of a elastic stretch bag so that if we had wet gear we could strap it on there and it would air out better and then up here at the neck. We find that as they get older and they get a little broader. These straps get really close to their neck and can start to rub so definitely a pack we recommend for under age 10, if you have a child who's on the larger side or the broader side, probably closer to age

 A lot of the problems are related to weight savings, which makes sense for a hiking like day pack.

 The water bottle spots on the sides are big and can be tightened, very nice. Even that front netting is useful sometimes.  But I don't really hike, I bought the pack as a daily driver and it's not suited. The pack just isn't robust enough, but then it's a little too tall so it flops over when you set it down

 A lot of people doing reviews on their backpacks and the tents and such, but not a lot of info for the things that they would need to use. So I kind of had to blindly pick something to see if it worked. and so I want to share our experiences with one of the pieces of gear that I picked out for the rugged. Mountain Mister So one of the best places to find out exactly what you might want to get was we went to REI and there you're able to try on different things and actually put weight in the backpacks

 at least that's one thing. I Hate Yeah. Rockmart Misters always had issues getting his uh water bottle to stay on and stay comfortable while he's hiking and have it accessible here in the front instead of trying to pull it out of the pouches that are on his back. All right, Well, that's about it

We've had this pack for 2 years and have given it lots of wear. That said, I would have hoped it would hold up better. We've taken it on lots of day trips and my son used it daily for a school pack this past year. All the strap buckles have fallen off somehow and after approx 1 year the shoulder strap started to twist and the filling/padding in the strap stopped laying the way it should, which is a problem when the backpack is loaded up

Didn't last as long as expected

 Addition to the pack so the overall review on the table, one to ten, I would probably give it an eight or nine. It was really good um and I think, because the straps are adjustable and cuz, I don't want to be lugging up a really steep hill and doesn't use bringing me back and it just easier to have a part of my body and just all that and the Pressure straps these things, these they keep your pack, oh yeah, yeah yeah.  We tried adjusting the straps, but couldn't find any configuration that felt comfortable. It's a bummer - this is otherwise a great backpack for day hikes.

I've purchased this backpack for my TMB (Tour du Mont Blanc) trek. The first pleasant surprise when I've got it was its weight - the pack is extremely lightweight, which helps a lot to reduce overall weight one has to carry. I've used it to carry everything needed for a two-week trek (w/o a tent and a sleeping bag), overall between 7 and 10 Kg, and was very pleased how the pack fit my back and shoulders. Needless to say that the pack is strong and durable enough to survive such trek

A good backpack for day treks

I had a geology field camp for my school and I needed a pack for everything when we had to go on some vigorous hikes and this came in handy. It can fit a decent amount of stuff and not feel too heavy because elf the weight distribution. However, there are two things I noticed. I’m disappointed that the side pockets weren’t bigger for my big water bottle

I had a avid hiker take a look at my new pack, he thought it was good. Perhaps a bit on the smaller side, but it is only called a 40L. The mesh backing is nice. (If you've run a backpack blower think of the air vents running through that
