[Meta] You should cancel/report your order the the $13.90 Royal Kludge mechanical keyboard

 Also there's no INSERT key shortcut anywhere that I can find.  If you aren't going to make use of the two wireless modes and don't mind the slightly dim backlighting, get this board. The price is really hard to beat! You've got the hot swappable switches (works with cherry), per-key RGB backlighting, software that offers full remapping on every key, macros (via software), detachable USB-C cable and a two port USB hub?? Definitely something the larger companies aren't offering, and even if they did, it'd be three times the price (maybe more).

 Looks just fine in the dark however, which is when the lighting is really needed.  Tiny nitpick - the Mac toggle would be better if the WIN/ALT keys also had command and option labels underneath, no extra caps came with the board to help with this either.   The build quality on the K2 (if you do get one, get v2 with the aluminum body) is far superior than that on this board.  The keycaps themselves, while they are backlight compatible, the icons on the F keys aren't. Just the text is backlit. K2 text and Icons on those are both backlit

 That attention to detail is important.  The wireless dongle, again while present does have a very short range.  The Royal is smaller than the K2 and I have big hands, so I felt a bit cramped when typing. No issues at all with that on the K2

  The stock keys themselves are a bit harder than the Keychron K2. While I like the sound of the RK, I prefer the feel of the K2. pros: keyboard looks great -decent customization -good feel to it -no deck flex -small and compact  cons: 2.4 ghz dongle has absolutely no range unless you plug it into a usb extender( i don’t know why but it worked once i plugged it in to a usb 3.0 or 2.0 extender no i can go a couple feet from it ) -software is well pretty useless the keyboard has all the short cuts that do everything the software does - i have yet to try the bluetooth but if the dongle doesn’t work well i can imagine the bluetooth will -i have gotten a replacement with the same issues so it’s not that i just got a bad keyboard or something like that because it had the exact same issue (not a con but just something i felt should be noted) -customer service is non existent(sent an message to them through amazon and got no response so i went though amazon’s support) - also weirdly enough the replacement worked even worse (now i have to send the replacement back and i’ll probably just deal with the usb extension even though that’s really not what i wanted to have to do)

The  TVS gold- (I know it is outdated, but It has been a staple for over 20  years, so They must be doing something properly)I know all of these are  "Budget Friendly" options, but I am not exactly in the market for  anything too expensive. If any of you have experiences with the keyboards  mentioned here, please Comment and help me decide.Any help is  appreciated. ..), but probably due to the ABS keycaps. Anyway, I replaced the switches with kailh speed Bronze and some PBT keycaps and everything feels right afterward

 Honestly speaking, the Blue switch isn't feeling very good. The typing is not smooth and the sound is not as crisp as other Blue switches or clicky switches (Cherry blue, Gatheron blue, kailh blue..

Probably a tight budget for wireless, but I am trying to stay around $100 or under. This keyboard is for a very lucky and excited 14-year old who is about to receive a shiny new gaming rig. Wireless is preferred and if possible in the color white, but I don't mind sacrificing color for availability or quality. I want it to last a while though. Also, it has to have all keys including num pad. Wireless keyboards are totally uknown to me even as a gamer. I have always used a wired keyboard so any help is appreciated.
