Schmidt easyFLOW 9000

Absolutely beautiful pens IMO, I have two. They come in three different sizes and they accept MULTIPLE different refills. I like Parker G2, and Schmidt EasyFlow 9000. Very deep black ink, and smooth writing.

Out of all my schmidt easyflow 9000 (9) only one didnt have problems. I'm just going to say it, it is overhype. Parker ballpoint and gel lasted longer than these. Dont get me wrong, easyflow feels nice when it can write, but so does G2 pens, but they dont seem to clunk up.

I'm using Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 M refills in my Tactile Turn (short) pen. The problem is that the ink onto the page is very inconsistent. It seems to skip sections of letters which requires me to go back several times to get ink on the page. Then sometimes I'm able to write whole paragraphs with no problems...Thinking it was just a faulty refill, I have swapped three or four into the pen with the same results.

I like it for longer writing sessions as I write both small and messy, so I need a small line to be legible. Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 - would be closest of these refill options to a Sarasa, but quality varies from refill to refill. I have one that is amazing and I love to write with it.

For $20-30, I'd recommend the rOtring 600 ballpoint pen with a Schmidt Easyflow 9000 ink refill, or a Parker Jotter with the same refill (unless you're into gel pens). Both pens are affordable and made out of metal so they're quite durable. The designs are quite different but each person has their own preference. I've been using both of these for the past few years for journalling, taking notes, and everything in between.
