The previous Vanguard Power was very underwhelming and I did a review of it about a year ago and it was, I thought it was really not good.

They're kind of built in and out here at the end is pretty dead. Now I will say also that I only tried the Invicta. I didn't try the S2

I got this weighted at about 861 right now, and it is a solid paddle. Now reach obviously with the Invicta model, the reach is great.

I didn’t notice any extra power or whipping ability when swinging due to the hole. It’s supposed to allow more aerodynamic ability and extra power, but I didn’t really notice anything different, at least compared to normal Selkirk paddles.

The Invikta is a great in-the-middle between those two in my opinion, and IIRC, Selkirk has a limited lifetime warranty. I personally use the hellbender as my personal paddle, but have demo’ed basically everything from Gamma, diadem, Selkirk, gearbox, paddletek, engage, Pro Lite, Pro Kennex, Onix, and some paddles from other brands like Prince.

The shorter handle isn't something I'm as used to, but it still felt pretty great and had tons of pop. * The Invikta was a beast-- definitely felt the most comfortable with this one because it had tons of power and pop, while still feeling pretty effortless for the softer shots. * All three paddles had exceptional maneuverability-- really easy to swing around, almost no drag, and very light. Compared to my Joola paddle, this thing is cutting through the air (oh, maybe that's why they called it Power Air).
