Second, don't get a Soundboks. It's not worth the money since it got heavy compression in upper and lower frequencies and doesn't play as loud as promised. Would always prefer a partybox 310 and with the same amount of money you would get two of them.

soundboks go oder soundboks gen 3?

I got a new soundboks recently and damn I have to say it is the best speaker I have had the luxury of listening to or owning. This thing is a beast and wanted to see what other people thought of it.

Currently debating between two JBL 310’s or two Diamondboxx PA10 + their PASUB15

I feel like the diamondboxx is the better setup but unfortunately have no actual way to test them because well it’s diamondboxx.

Anyone got any input?

I’ll preface by saying the sound quality is great; however I got this for our annual 4th of July party on the beach where I need the sound to be loud and carry with all of the background commotion.

Tried it out yesterday by the pool with the volume all the way up and it sounded good but it never got to a “crap I need to turn it down” volume level. Am I missing something with this? Is there a way to tune the EQ or something or is this just what to expect?

Last year we used the PartyBox 100 I believe which was much louder and even that struggled on the beach so maybe I’m just SOL.

Depending on the price you can afford, the best (most expensive as well) is the Soundboks.  Afterwards I am very happy with my UE Hyperbooms.

Buy it direct because then there's no bullshit with the warranty my buddy sent the newer model back it was 190 days old due to Bluetooth problems ( He screwed it up by accident) they not only honored the warranty but they only give a 100 day window for straight out return. Because he bought it direct they gave him the extra 90 day extension but he purchased the older model several days after the return of the New Soundboks that's $999. I think it's by far the most user friendly speaker and the sound is fucking amazing

I can't answer your question but if you have a good quality portable speaker with a worn out battery, contact a few technicians and ask if it would be possible to remove or bypass the battery and have it powered only by usb.
