 Number 16: The Laptop Compartment: I actually have to say that this is my favorite compartment or laptop compartment out of any other bag I have ever owned. and that's just because it's divided into three sections. You can have one section for your documents in your papers, you have one section for your ipad. Right now, I have a standard size ipad in here, but you can fit a larger one in and it has room for up to a 17-inch laptop

 The other thing they change though is that the zipper doesn't go as low as the previous version, so that means you just can't open it as wide. but it's still fairly wide, so not a huge issue. Number 17: They've actually added a reflective strip on either side of the laptop zipper. Number 18: These straps are slightly different

Good product...while it lasts

 The version i have here is the all black, but you can see all the different options that they have on the company site and then moving into the materials on the exterior. You have a rip, stop nylon that feels pretty lightweight, but like it's still going to hold up well to rougher usage, it also feels like it's going to offer a nice amount of weather resistance, and then you have ykk zippers all throughout the bag that have worked Really smoothly continuing along the outside on the front, as i mentioned earlier, you have webbing that's going to allow you to attach additional accessories with something like a carabiner. This is normally the spot where i would attach my hero clip, but you have two rows of this. Webbing one on each side, so a lot of different ways that you can attach items and then you have on the bottom of the bag, compression straps that are going to allow you to hold something like a yoga mat or maybe a jacket

 If you place your bag down. You can kind of see this starting to slide out in this compartment. On the left. I just placed a little manicure set that i like to have with me when i'm on the go and then on the right, i placed this usb power block that i use for charging my macbook pro and my other devices when i'm on the road moving up Along the front of the bag, you have another spacious compartment

I like that. The zipper on this one is almost hidden on the front of the bag, and so opening this up

 You can see my 13 inch macbook pro is getting kind of swallowed up by the compartment, but the sleeve is very well padded. I love that it has the soft fleece lining to help prevent against scratching it's a suspended compartment. So if you place your bag down a little bit harder, your device is going to be well protected and so pulling my laptop out now with the compartment empty. You can get a better look at the inside and so plenty of padding on both sides of the compartment, and it comes up enough to be able to hold a thicker device

  Other than that, will likely use this as my daily carry when I'm done with my trip since I liked it a lot other than these issues.

 My feeling is that this backpack is not designed for carrying heavy loads or being comfortable when fully packed out. The shoulder straps do not seem well designed, are very rigid, and lack load lifters. The back panel lays flat on the back, which is much less comfortable than a bag with some curvature, also the hip strap was entirely useless for moving weight off of the shoulders.  If you are looking to get this backpack to carry a heavy load, I would look elsewhere towards brands that are more geared for comfort

 (Osprey, Gregory, etc). and would recommend hip belts.  Other than that, will likely use this as my daily carry when I'm done with my trip since I liked it a lot other than these issues.

Great backpack overall, but very uncomfortable when packed full.

 but otherwise did find it, um, comfortable. You've got the contoured shoulder straps here, which are also pretty densely padded. um, so that's good. And then we do have a hip belt here at the bottom

 but I mean you can kind of see like this is it's tight already. There's not really much space. Um, I think I do have a notebook in here and if you sort of like shove that all the way down, you can see how tight that looks. And once again, there's not even really a lot of stuff packed in here, so just something to be mindful of that

 If you don't really have that many things to carry, then could be fine. Just depends on your use case and how much stuff you have to carry. So this is the laptop compartment here. It does have a generous false bottom which is nice

 So in there I have my gloves and a hat. That's what I got for the wintertime, so that's this leads into this gray material. The the interior lining this great interior liner is pretty good. It's got a good weight to it so that's a good storage spot

 The grab handle on this back is excellent. Great grab one and even for my big meat mitts. I got really big hands so this grab handle is comfortable. It's wide enough I can get a good grip on it

 Great Company and customer service); however, I use this "computer bag" every day so I just took it (twice... once for each side) to my local shoe repair and had the straps re-sewn to the pack
