No bass, fatiguing treble.  Nice for alto vocals.

.well as for quality, they're decent no more no less, just about loud enough with the M6, but lacking a wee bit. Worth £152 ? Not for me no.

 Fostex T50rp Mayflower molded, Sennheiser 58x, Sennheiser Momentums and Monoprice M1080 open. Nothing iem before can compare to these. I was very accustom to lower quality mid high and elevated exaggerated lows. These shook my experience

 I can recommend them for those who also like resolving balanced music and nothing out of place. Not for you hard rock or EDM bass types. Maybe more research for that crowd.

Almost gave up but.....

First the premium construction and boxing makes opening these feel like a box from tiffanys. They fit nicely in the ear and come with a good assortment of tips. The cable provided is beautiful and corrext length. The sound is amazing with perfect quality and a lovely bass

Is this perfection?

I really like these IEMs, but it would have a hard time recommending them to people that would find the trebles from these things very piercing. The bass also lacks a bit, but I came into these expecting this and I personally don't find that to be a problem. If you can properly drive these with a good amplifier, these pack a lot of detail for the cost.

Great sounding IEM, needs to be amped. I use these when on calls, and when full size cans would look awkward (my go to are HD6XX (open/dynamic), HE5XX (open/planar), and TH-X00(closed/dynamic)). with the P1, i do not feel as I am compromising on sound quality. It has a neutral-leaning sound signature like the HD6XX, with sum sub bass extension

- one of the best accesories package (for the price) - aggresive sound - never had the chance to have the original p1 but even the plus does require a decent amplifier to shine - very good choice for planar sound in an IEM
