 The plastic is a nice, matte, smooth surface. The buttons have a nice click to them, a very positive response, and overall, it just feels like a quality speaker. And I know a lot of people, when they see LED lights, they think maybe it's kinda cheap. This one doesn't feel cheap

Portable speaker suggestions under €300

  Low-volume performance is also significantly worse than that of the JBL, mostly due to the Tribit only having 16 volume levels. The gaps between them at low volumes are HUGE compared to those on smaller speakers (think five or six levels on something you could fit in your hand) and I personally find many situations where the only volume options are too quiet or too loud for low-volume use. This can be combatted by disabling Bluetooth absolute volume on your source device or using a source which does not support absolute volume (AUX input or older Bluetooth device). Both the Tribit and the JBL sound less clear and refined at lower volume than most smaller speakers, this is not a design flaw but rather an inherent property of speaker sizing

 The Tribit speaker is heavy and feels as bulky as it sounds, but is constructed out of cheap-feeling plastic compared to the "luxurious" fabric and rubber overwrap on the JBL Boombox. This makes the speaker easier to dry, put stickers on, or attach third-party mounts to but does look and feel cheap.  Low-volume performance is also significantly worse than that of the JBL, mostly due to the Tribit only having 16 volume levels. The gaps between them at low volumes are HUGE compared to those on smaller speakers (think five or six levels on something you could fit in your hand) and I personally find many situations where the only volume options are too quiet or too loud for low-volume use

 Both speakers play loud enough to be uncomfortable for extended indoor use and experience no noticeable distortion or clipping at maximum volume. Default EQ settings of the Tribit vs the JBL are different but both speakers allow for enough customization to suit most users' needs.  To sound that good for 1/3 the cost, however, some cuts did have to be made. The two most noticeable are the build quality of the speaker and its low-volume performance

 Stereo mode works as well, with no apparent audio delay and full synchronization of the controls and lighting between the speakers. The lack of aptX support for a device with Bluetooth 5.3 hardware is quite unusual but I cannot hear a difference in audio quality, at least when streaming music through Spotify on a run-of-the-mill Android phone. I have yet to fully test battery life but the advertised figures appear accurate, at least based off the battery level shown in the app

Sounds Like A $500 JBL Boombox, Can't Be Used In The Shower

 If I was to criticize one area, it's the highs. Now the highs aren't quite as crisp as I would personally like. It's all personal preference here. So I go into the equalizer, tweak it up a little bit, and I think for the price tag, this thing sounds absolutely fantastic

 Now that's going to take quite a while. It is a large battery and the run time is up to 30 hours. Now this is really my only con here of this unit is that you can only charge it with the AC plug there. You cannot charge it via type C which is a bit of a shame

 I don't know what's stopping me. I have actually tried with another phone, but it gave me the same error there. So overall an excellent speaker. Thank you so much for watching this review

Tribit StormBox Blast Review. The Best Sub $200 BT Loudspeaker!

  As a single speaker I would still rate my Aiwa exos 9 as the best single speaker you can buy for the money.

 Anything above 75% volume the bass boost button hardly has any affect.  Battery life - Battery life is superb! This thing has literally never died on me. Never! However, the pro battery life comes with a HEFTY con. This sucker is heavy

 It's very punchy at low volumes but I'm waiting to see a speaker that can also shine at max volume without doing any funny EQing. Even if it means sacrificing max volume. If this speaker sounded as good at 100% as it does at 67% I would easily give it 5 stars. However, because the weight of this thing gives it a much more premium feel than the Motion Boom, it certainly doesn't outperform the Anker rival by a lot

 However if you have two of these speakers not only do you get stereo separation but it sounds like 100% when two are played at 67%. Basically you'll have to buy two of these in order to get the full sounding experience. Trust me I was almost tempted to return the first one that I bought but then I wanted to see what they sounded like as a stereo pair and now I'm keeping them. I will rate this speaker as the best Bluetooth speaker as a stereo pair

Newb looking for advice.

 Something to show battery life other than voice prompts when it’s low. They could have show on cell phones list of devices where it shows battery life of connected devices or something on the speaker itself.  3. Adding either some holes or other way for people to attach their own straps which would be better cause I’m sure I would use higher quality strap than what they would provide cause I’m just that much of an extra person

Absolutely slaps and shakes the area around it! Exactly what I have been wanting in a speaker as far as sound. Some things I would say they could do to make it better:  1. Make it more integrated with phones! Can’t use it for most calls except for when we’re doing screen share on FaceTime. I thought that was unusual

Looking for speakers that pair to have on a large patio for a party?

 which is not ideal for taking this portable speaker camping In areas with no cell reception. Secondly the battery meter is not accurate and exponentially speeds up as you get lower in percentage also low battery warning comes on at 25% and then Auto shuts down at about 24% at half volume w/o Xbass on. It has a good battery but I feel as though it needs a bigger Capacitor to help with higher draw at lower battery percentages. I have two and both function the same with the same issues

 These issues are not a dealbreaker but something to keep in mind if you live in a rural area with no Internet access.
