Sound wise for gaming i can say is pretty good, you can hear bits of the audio and players footsteps around you more clearly than just on your t.v. As for the mic...not so sure. I'm unable to get it working and saw other videos and nothings working between my PC

Improvements - Comfort (at least a bit), good sound quality, decent soundstage, durability. Past headphones: Samsung Galaxy Buds+ (not a comfortable fit, and sounds a bit off in terms of balance) & Turtle Beach Recon 50x (slightly small, and music doesn't sound as good as I think it should. In COD, I don't really have good sound direction in terms of whether I'm hearing something from in front of me, or behind me) are my current ones. In the past, I used Turtle Beach Ear Force XO One (I don't recall any specific problems, other than the jack breaking, although it was my first headphones) and Ear Force Three (it felt too small and the 3.5mm jack broke).

It's a christmas present for our grandson and I don't play video games so this is not a fair review of this product

**Past Headphones:** The only ones I can recall are Turtle Beach Recon 50P. Terrible all around, but acceptable in cheapo-standards. I stop using it when the sound it plays gets all increasingly buzzy where it eventually became "unplayable" to use it. **What I am looking for:** Microphone is a requirement.
