This far exceeded my expectation considering the price point and the lack of padding. The ear cups were big enough to cover my ears without coming in contact with them and the leatherette covered foam padding was quite soft. I Think the main reason why this headset was so comfortable is actually its weight

I’m torn between the Steelseries Arctis 5 and the Logitech G Pro X. I’ll be making this easier to read:

Arctis 5
- I was told sound is good and it is very comfy by arctis users
- I personally like the white variant with the rgb (you cant see it but people will see it)
- I’ve watched tons of review videos and found several comments in yt and in reddit saying it is tough for fps because the audio makes it hard to distinguish where the gunshots are coming from 

Logitech G Pro X
- saw review videos praising it a lot with the sound quality especially those who play fps
- saw one reviewer claim go for Logitech G Pro because the X makes you add an extra 30$ for the mic which tbh I don’t really need 
- with the point above, is it really better to go for the G Pro instead of the X? Also compared with Arctis, is it really better audio wise?

I am open to other suggestions preferably of headsets costing 100-150$  as I have a different one to use outside of gaming.

- I do value comfort a lot as I tend to get bad headaches if I wear something with extreme clamp force

Good headphones for fps gaming? Arctis 5? Logitech G pro X? Other suggestions?

Sound wise for gaming i can say is pretty good, you can hear bits of the audio and players footsteps around you more clearly than just on your t.v. As for the mic.

Mic won't work

 The mic is about like two inches three inches away from my mouth and I feel like I'm working at a fast food place with this microphone on the headset. sounds pretty good. Hope the mic sounds good. I mean this is how it's sounding so you know I just took a big L and I'm breathing

 Decent cushioning. Kind of feels like memory foam but don't even know what it is. Not a lot of noise isolation here, but with the cushioning on the ear cups and the headband, the overall fit is very comfortable. I Can play games for hours without feeling any discomfort

I've been using the HyperX Cloud II for years, and they're incredibly comfortable and sound great to my non-audiophile ears, but they have one problem - they're heavy. I spend a lot of time with them on and would like something easier on my neck. I mostly use them to game, watch movies, and generally watch YouTube videos and stuff. I don't listen to music much.

Because of my good experience with the Cloud II, I'm most comfortable buying something similar - closed back, over-the-ear headsets. I'm not opposed to options that don't satisfy these constraints though. From my research, it sounds like these types of headsets don't get that much lighter than the Cloud II so I'm even open to suggestions like IEMs or whatever other lightweight options might exist, if you can convince me that they are suitable for gaming and watching movies. The most important thing is that they should be comfortable and sound at least as good as the Cloud II. In my research I found the Sennheiser PC38X, which look right up my alley except I'm not sure if the weight difference from the Cloud II is enough to really matter (320g vs 253g).

My budget is flexible, but it's best to keep it between $100-$300.

How do i wash the earpads and the top bend?
I can remove the hearpads and i would like to was them in water and soap or something similar.
I guess i will use some wipes to clean the top bend.

Hello, I've got an old pair of Razer Carcharias that (forgive my lack of audio vocabulary) goes really quiet and loses some of the sound output - lost like if an image lost the red channel in RBG. The issue seems to fix itself if the cable saver (https://i.imgur.com/nTTv5C5.png) is bent a certain way. I opened up the headphone housing and the soldering all looks fine and I don't see any obvious damage to the wires as they enter the housing through the cable saver but they are all bunched up pretty tight so it's hard to see. Anyone have ideas of what I can do to fix them?

Looking for a True Wireless headphone. I currently have the 1st gen AirPods and pretty happy with them, but would like full over-ears. 

Budget is ~$350. I need closed backs since I’ll be using it on public transport (ANC optional). I’ll be buying in NZ (Aus also possible via Amazon).

Basically I am looking for **open back** headphones and a **microphone** to go with them. I am thinking about the **AKG 240** and a **V-Moda** mic but I'm not sure if they are a good choice or even the cheapest one. I was almost gonna go for the **Superlux HD681 Evo** but I saw they had a male cable connector which ruined my plans :(.

I would also appreciate advice on a microphone I have no idea if I should go for a clip on, V-Moda, Modmic or even a normal studio microphone.

I've come to the conclusion that I would like to buy either a Sennheiser Gsp 670 or a Audeze Penrose, although I will have to spend $100 more on the Penrose I'm just not sure if the extra money would be worth the quality difference. Could anyone that has experience with both headphones please help me out thanks!

Quick question, hope someone can help. I've got a decent DAC in my PC motherboard and I want to plug my Sennheiser 6XXs into it. However, the cable doesn't reach back there. I'm using an inexpensive pair of computer speakers that have a headphone port in them. My question is, if I plug my high quality headphones into my mediocre speakers that are plugged into my decent quality DAC, will I be hearing the full effects of the DAC or will it be degraded?

I have a Schiit Magni 3+ and a Schiit Modi 3+ and my right channel is dying every now and then. It'll slowly fade to silent (so only sound in left channel) and then it returns 5-10 seconds later or if I bump the Modi, it'll return instantly.

Schiit is not really being helpful (just tells me to try a different USB cable or something) so I'm wondering if anyone else have any idea what I can do in this situation?

Is there any way this could be caused by the RCA cables between the Magni and the Modi? Want to hear from someone that this is a valid theory before buying more cables just for troubleshooting.

V-Moda Crossfade 2 Codex. right headphone has recently started making a "sucking"/rattling sound when I push it towards my ear. Feels like something metal in there is loose or something. This seems fixable. I'm out of warranty though and stumped. Honestly, if somebody could tell me just how to get these things open it would be a really helpful start :/ I feel dumb.  


Really specific stuff--the right side is a liiiiiitle underbalanced. When i lightly touch the right headphone towards my ear, it will make that click/rattle, and suddenly it's balanced perfectly with the left side. Is something coming disconnected inside? Any ideas at all?
