 This is what I would call maybe a boom box for hi-fi enthusiasts. So I thought we will compare it against a real boom box, the JBL Xtreme. But as you can see the JBL Xtreme is a much larger speaker, it's heavier. This is really a fraction of the size of the JBL, but it reaches nearly the same loudness without any distortion, without compression, without funky bass reduction and so on

 This is the FIFA Helsinki. FIFA is a Dutch company and like many other Scandinavian companies they seem to have some fable for fabric covers. So this might look maybe like some women's handbag, you know, a speaker that you carry around and play soft music, some folk, some soft rock, but well in reality this is really heavy stuff. I would maybe try to compare it against the Bang & Olufsen BioPlay A2 or the Bowers & Wilkins T7, but this is much more serious

 And I will reduce volume again slightly, you know, to simulate really low level listening. And I think it's noticeable what I wanted to show you. The lower the volume, the less impressive the sound becomes of the FIFA Helsinki. Okay, so what's the reason for this rather funny result? As most other portable speakers tend to sound great at low levels, but as soon as you crank them past half they start to apply some funky kind of dynamic compression and distort anyhow

 The JBL as well, maximum. Yes Maybe another house track. So both at maximum, and no distortion, nothing, the JBL, yeah it sounds a bit forced. Yeah, it's simply boomy, but well, the bass has no real quality, no distortion, no distortion, no, no real quality

Vifa Helsinki - soundcheck

Very impressed to say the least of this wonderful speaker. I have to say that for it's size it plays very loud and most of the time distortion free. The only genre that I tried that it has difficult playing is rap but I barely listen to it. I mostly play vallenato which is acoustic organic music and it just shows how really natural this genre is

 If you're looking for a high end speaker that will reproduce your music as it was intended them look no further. That is perfect no when you reach it's full volume but even then you can notice the DSP change, my guess is leave the speaker at full volume but leave the source at around 70 to 75% at the most to fully enjoy the sound.

The only one to match it is its own brand higher end models...

The Marshall Emberton has good sound when put in a corner, up to 20h of battery when fully loaded, and with it’s single button it is super easy to use.

I have the Wonderboom 2. It has about 11-12 hours of battery life. If it is a large classroom the Boom3 is bigger. The UE speakers have really nice sound.

I'm looking for the best quality I can get from bluetooth battery speakers. I'm in a specific situation where I can't have the speakers plugged in during usage, so they need to have a battery, and they need to be bluetooth.

I've looked at soundbars and portable speakers, but I'm also looking to maximize sound quality. I could've gotten any old 25€ speakers but my use case is playing music for kids who need to have a respectable audio experience that can allow for good ear training.

The speakers will be used in a small ~10-15 m² classroom. The children are 2-5 yo. Budget is 150-200€. I don't know much about speakers and room acoustics so I'm looking for any advice and recommendations.

Best quality bluetooth battery speakers?

 The physical design is a breath of fresh air, too, as is the abundance of tangible quality and clever functionality. As if that weren't enough, tha packaging is a work of art unto itself. As to my reason for not calling this *the* best—there is the Vifa Copenhagen.

 This remarkable unit really delivers. I have a great deal of respect for Vifa and this Helsinki does not disappoint at all. The physical design is a breath of fresh air, too, as is the abundance of tangible quality and clever functionality. As if that weren't enough, tha packaging is a work of art unto itself

I did a lot of research and everything pointed to this model for my tastes. As a former speaker designer and recording engineer, I value tonal neutrality and dynamic freedom with no audible compression at higher listening levels. This remarkable unit really delivers. I have a great deal of respect for Vifa and this Helsinki does not disappoint at all

Can confirm, Soundcore's mid-size party speaker, the Trance Go, offers by far the best audio quality I've ever heard from a Bluetooth speaker. This is coming from an entry-level audiophile, but even I can tell you that it comes with slightly higher fidelity, smoother bass and punchier treble than even the newest UE Boom. Not to mention it gets louder, without any detectable loss in sound quality. I know it also features a customizable EQ, which means you have access to heavier bass if you need it, but it can easily be compensated for. 

I can't say if it's overall better than the Motion Plus, but I'd imagine you went with the right product, given your emphasis on balance. The Trance Go probably offers a bit more noise and slightly deeper bass, but that's just a guess given the relative size and weight of the two speakers.

Sony XB-43 ,.   Theres the main selling point of this speaker is the EXTRA BASS setting but the real winner on this speaker is the "Live"  mode technology. I've seen "live" modes in all sorts of devices and set ups over the years and wasn't expecting much, I had the speaker 2 weeks before I said, oh haha , live mode sure well give it a go fully expecting to be going back to extra bass setting because thsts what sounds good. U haven't gone back since,,  it expands the soundstage , widens it and wraps around you.  Look into it people are discovering it more and more and reviewers don't tend to let on about it. 
Also when in Live it isn't doing the extra bass , but still you can eq the bass up and down in the app and obviously the mids and treble.

I feel like most speakers tend to emphasize basses, but I just want a well-balanced clear sound that will respect the original music and the original mix. Can I find that in good quality for around 300 usd or less?

<p>Edit I don&#39;t need something to party with 50 people, mosty to use in the room</p>

<p>Edit 2: I’m in a place where I cannot listen to music loudly. So I’m more into something that will fill the room without being loud. </p>

<p>Edit 3: I went for the Motion+, I will see how they sound when I get them, but I’m still open to information. </p>

Good bluetooth speakers up to around 300 bucks that are clear and well balanced and don't particularily emphasize basses?

This review is for VIFA, not for the product. I got the product and tried to connect the app so that i could make customize the sound.  First of all, why introduce a third party into the connection stream? With Bluetooth only the product and the device need be involved so why not use bluetooth to connect the app?  Second, there is no useful instruction on how to connect to the speaker to Wifi. All the instructions they do give are a waste of time and just adds to the frustration
