 I think one of them might even be like a JBL speaker that costs like 350 bucks. Now y'all know I don't like to get too technical, but I gotta show you some stuff, man. We got some ports on this side. What do we have here? That's definitely a USB-C charging port right there

A Mega-Loud Bluetooth Speaker: W-King D8

 The speakerphone in my opinion is little difficult operate which is not a big deal to me because I almost never use a speaker to carry on a phone conversation through unless I'm in a pinch. The battery life is definitely not 24 hours you may get that if you turn it on as its lowest volume other than that real life ,one day I forgot to charge my phone the speaker had a full charge and I left my phone in to charge and did not take it off after it was fully charged which took about two and a half to three hours but the battery from the speaker playing at around 50% volume died after about 6 to 6 and 1/2 hours, then using it without charging my phone playing at 50% or slightly higher will last up to 9 or 10 hours but if you would have blasted all day long I can't imagine it would last anywhere near that.  As far as design features go again in my opinion there's a lot left to be desired what I mean by that is the subwoofer radiators have a cover protruding about 1 and 1/4 in on each end from the main body of the speaker adding a unnecessary 2 and 1/2 inches of length to the speaker when in fact all you really need is a flat screen cover if anything at all it's only put there as a design element it doesn't affect the sound quality and at the top front of the speaker box you'll see there are six in total three on each side oval accents the problem with that is again it doesn't add anything to the performance of the speaker and if you were to take it out to the beach it would be difficult to get the sand that will blow around out from those crevices. the back top of the speaker box doesn't have it it's nice and straight and the front should be that way to the back of the speaker however has a very nice carbon fiber look to it

Let me start out by saying I have not been paid by anyone to write this review. purchased it back on January 6th of 2020 I've been using it pretty much every day at work overall the sound quality for the money is a great value there's definitely not as much as base as they might lead you to believe but again for a speaker that's around $70 or a little more depending on the color( I have the green one the black one costs more )it has very good sound with no Distortion even at its loudest volume the EQ button does work it's basically an on-and-off they are no different genres to choose from the only negative thing I can say about the sound is that the tweeters sound a little bit tinny and you don't get any base in the low-to-mid volume you definitely need to turn it up a bit to get any discernible base.  This also has, that's NFC compatible. This is IPX6 water rated so you can get it wet but don't submerge it. You can fly it back here to protect the ports, you have a USB-C like I mentioned and it has a 3.5 millimeter for wired connection

 So I just stuck those on there myself. So let's check this thing out and see what it sounds like. Let's do this.  Okay so the W King D8 Mini as you can see, it's a smaller version of the D8. It uses Bluetooth 5.0, it uses USB-C and it is TWS compatible so you can run two of these wirelessly together. On top you have your power, your minus and plus are for track forward, track back and volume

 Okay, so we're back again and this time we're looking at the W King D8 Mini. Now the D8 was a very, very popular budget, kind of a bigger size Bluetooth speaker. So good that they decided to come out with a smaller version, the D8 Mini. We're going to review that today and see if it meets up to its big brother's legacy right after this

Speaker recommendations

  My recommendations for those considering a D8 as a way of getting Bose or JBL quality sound for a lot less money is to not waste your time. That's why I am writing this for those that would normally consider a more premium speaker and have been influenced by the tremendous amount of Supernova type glowing reviews. I already took the plunge, but fortunately I can return the D8. On the other hand, if you've got the time and want to prove it for yourself, by all means order a D8 and put it to the test

 You do get more volume for your money. That's a fact. And as I said at the outset of this review, if high volume and staying within a budget is your primary goal, then you will achieve it with the D8. It seems well made and I have nothing bad to say about it other than I was not impressed with the overall sound quality and listening experience

."JBL Xtreme Killer!!" My response is "Don't Believe it!!" My friend has a JBL Flip 4, a little speaker with a big sound. After listening to his Flip 4, I ordered it's big brother, the JBL Charge 4, also from Amazon. These JBL's are VERY good, even if not as loud as the D8 

 Amazon's return policy is typically very good. After I've had the JBL long enough, I intend to put up a review.  I give the W-King D8 a 3 star rating for sound quality but I added a star because of the value proposition.

Here to get some recommendations on the best portable speaker under £150. About two years ago my friend told me about the UK company Minirig and I've been staring at them longingly since then but before I drop cash on it, I want to get some other views from people about the good portable speakers.

As the title says, it'll be for going camping and taking outdoors for exercise (hence why I was looking at Minirig). I'm looking for good bass response (lots of house music), loud, a 3.5mm jack.

Speaker for camping and exercising outside - Portability is a must

 The W-King does and it was almost the same price to the penny. As for the JBL the sound is comparable, but it costs more and isn't as well protected from dropping, etc. Bottom line - I think I made the right choice buying the w-King. UPDATE: I took that road trip in my not-too-quiet Corvette after writing this review

 Bluetooth set-up/pairing was easy and doesn't require a separate app. Functionality as a speaker phone is acceptable (I've only tested it in a quiet room, so again-no "Corvette test" yet). This speaker is very heavy and larger than most speakers I looked at in this price range. At over 6 pounds, the buyer should be aware that it's portable, but maybe not something one would want to carry very far

 The UE, I returned because of the way the controls functioned. For comparison, the UE, although about 1/3 the weight of the W-King, it didn't have the volume or sound fullness I needed. The W-King does and it was almost the same price to the penny. As for the JBL the sound is comparable, but it costs more and isn't as well protected from dropping, etc

 This speaker is very heavy and larger than most speakers I looked at in this price range. At over 6 pounds, the buyer should be aware that it's portable, but maybe not something one would want to carry very far. (Having said that, I plan to put it in my backpack and travel by foot, public transportation and air, just to get it to my destination - a one-time journey, I hope). The sound is very good, but I'm not giving it 5 stars due to the equalizer control that has no indicator of what mode it's in to remember it for later (it's more just trial-and-error until you find what you like each time you use it)

My Big Jambox (which I loved) broke and I need to replace it with something similar in size (can fit in a backpack) but also can get just as loud at the jambox did. The louder the better, but without sounding like trash. Any recommendations?

Big Jambox broke, what to replace it with?

 Checked and both sets of lights were on but no connection. Plugged it up to charge. After several hours the lights are still on and no response when attempting to charge. No other buttons responded(vol+/-) as well

Haven't used this speaker much. The test I've used it I had enjoyed the sound. However, today when I went to recharge it after using it I found that the power on light and the battery indicator lights stayed on. I'd thought the battery had died initially
