I've gone through every thread, and every YouTube video, but honestly the more I hear about them the more undecided I am.

Since this Covid thing started I've been trapped at home for almost a year and now working from home is the norm, so I usually spend 8 hours a day with some old heavy ass headphones over my head wired to the computer and my head and neck hurt like hell. I'm constantly listening to music that usually ranges from hip-hop, techno to metal, punk-rock (yeah I know).. and when I'm not, I'm jumping from one call to another.

I had my eyes over the 700's for a while just because of the mic, but then I started reading about how flat the sound quality is compared to the XM4, which sound way better and have the best ANC out there, but apparently, they also have the worst mic. So my questions are...

* is the XM4 mic really THAT bad for conference calls?
* Is Bose sound really that flat to enjoy music?
* Is there no perfect headphone for the middle-man daily life?
* Am I asking for too much? Was I born too soon to enjoy the best of both worlds?

I'm no audio expert, moreover, I barely have any idea, but if I'm spending 300+ on some headphones, they better answer to basic needs such as conferences or just playing music decently..

My budget is fairly low being $75 or less. They are connecting to a Samsung Galaxy s8. I have no requirements for noise isolation. They should be more bass-heavy as hip-hop is her favorite genre.

I tried purchasing a pair of UA True Wireless Streak Headphones but UA wouldn't give me an employee discount. I was looking at some JBL wireless earbuds but was unsure of the quality. I was wondering if Raycon earbuds were any good since they've appeared on YouTube several times. 

Overall, I just need a pair of dependable wireless earbuds.

Hey guys. I have Sony WH1000XM3s right now and I absolutely love them, the sound quality is great and they are so comfortable. I wore them once while working out and they worked well but I know now that they’re not sweat resistant, and I’m going to the gym more often so I’d like to invest in some sweat proof headphones like these. I did a fair amount of research but can’t find much so I figured I’d come here.

My #1 priority is sound quality (especially bass), #2 is weight (or at least designed so it doesn’t fall off my head) and #3 is comfort. Obviously above all is sweat proof.

Is this realistic? I feel like my Sony’s have all of these except for sweat proof so honestly if I can’t find anything I might just buy the XM4s and use my XM3s to work out, but if there’s something else that fits these as well and also stays on my head better that would be GREAT! Budget is not a concern and I will be using them on my phone. Thank you!

I heard the Sony had better and punchier sound, Airpods have much better integration with iphone, Galaxy Buds are more comfortable and lightweight.

I have an old pair of Sony MDR-V6s that my family has had for a very long time, and recently the "DIGITAL" stickers on the sides of the earcups came off while they were being moved with some other things and I can't find the stickers to put them back on. Does anyone know where I could get replacements? (I'd prefer the DIGITAL stickers but the STEREO ones would also be fine, they just don't really look that good without the stickers)

Is it worth upgrading from Bose AE2s to the Sony WH1000XM3? They have great reviews and it'd be nice to have a wireless set,  but that price tag is pretty high. Only really using them for listening to music.

 **Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 32Ohm too quiet**

So  I just bought aforementioned headphones and they are way too quiet. So  far I was using Sennheiser HD 202 and there was no problem with sound  volume. I use headphones by connecting them to my Logitech z533  loudspeakers, which are connected to my computer. I also can't connect  Beyerdynamic headphones directly to my computer, due to this [thread](https://i.imgur.com/0UARUFh.jpg) .

They  also feel very tight around my ears so probably I will return them, but  I would like to know why they are so quiet. Thank you

Good afternoon, While I did read the DAC/AMP FAQ - I have a pretty simple question that I haven't really found a solid answer too. Probably because there is more than one answer but anyways.

I was originally looking to get some gaming headphones for my new PC, but I've come to the understanding that they're a gimmick and am in the direction of some quality headphones without a mic. I was looking at the He400i, but I am pretty undereducated with this type of electronics. Would I be ok to use these as regular headphones without an Amp/DAC? If I buy these headphones should I just buy the Amp/DAC or both with it? I'm not looking to record a studio album, just get my bang for my buck instead of buying aimlessly and then deciding I want something nicer later. If I do buy the DAC/Amp is it fairly simple to set up?

TLDR; do I actually need a DAC/Amp to use these with my PC?
