There&rsquo;s not too much audible hiss created by the ANC (though there is some, which is common). And the noise cancellation doesn&rsquo;t seem to change the sound signature too much when it&rsquo;s engaged, which is another common pitfall of wireless ANC models. 

 The right earcup houses volume up/down buttons, a central playback/call management button (that also summons Siri), a USB-C port for the included charging cable, and another connection for the included audio cables&mdash;they can attach to either ear. 

On Jay-Z and Kanye West&rsquo;s &ldquo;No Church in the Wild,&rdquo; the kick drum loop receives plenty of high-mid presence, allowing it to retain its punchiness, while the vinyl crackle and hiss that&rsquo;s usually relegated to background status takes a step forward in the mix. The sub-bass synth hits that punctuate the beat are delivered with relative restraint&mdash;we hear them, and get the full extent of their depth, but the bass isn&rsquo;t wildly boosted like it is on many bass-forward pairs. I also have the AirPods Max, AirPods Pro, iSine20, JBL Club One and ORA GQ (for my wireless stuffs)

The sport buds are less great at calls and would be generally less useful than they currently are to me without my 2 AirPods options.

I tend to use the AirPods for work and quite often around the house and sports buds for working out or times when I want an energy boost from my music.

Let's just say I love my SoundSport Free earbuds, but my left earbud is incapable of holing a charge of more than a couple minutes. (I'm on my cell, do I hope formatting won't get too messy). 

- I like how they fit. 
- I like that they come with different size silicone buds so I can see which fits the best. 
- I like that they sound great. 
- I like the little case for charging on the go. 
- I like that they last a few hours (except the broken one) 
- and I like they they are pretty reliable, doesn't matter if I listen to videos, audiobooks, music, or am on a call. 

Well let's just say I really like them. 
But they ain't supported anymore. 
No software update that fixes the issue I got with the left earbud.

So, if you upgraded to newer wireless earbud options, how do they compare? What do you like/dislike about them?

I have the JBL Club Ones, and while the Bluetooth is actually pretty decent sounding and plenty good for my taste, the headphones are actually Hi-Res certified when using the aux cord, and it always sounds much better when I do. 

Wired headsets inherently have better audio quality than Bluetooth. It's just how it is. The aux cord just straight up transmits the music, whereas with Bluetooth, the music has to be compressed into a certain format in order to be transmitted from the device to the headset, and then the headset has to "read" all the info there and turn it back into the music. 

I know the club 950s have good sound quality as well, and I believe they have a bass boost button of something, which the Ones don't have.

The aux cord just straight up transmits the music, whereas with Bluetooth, the music has to be compressed into a certain format in order to be transmitted from the device to the headset, and then the headset has to "read" all the info there and turn it back into the music.

So I just got the Tune 750 and the bass was awful in Bluetooth mode. I had a wired JBL headphones before and it sounded way better than this. when I plugged the wire in the audio jack, the bass had much better quality. I'm thinking of returning it and just getting myself wired headphones cause I like my bass and thought it'd be as good as my old ones.

Disparity in music with and without wire in Tune 750 BTNC

So it is understood, my priorities were comfort, value, and sound quality, then features and style, and then noise canceling. We all know the Bose 700NC and Sony XM4s have the best NC but it has always just been an appreciated feature for me. 

 These headphones looked awesome and I wanted them to be the ones so I hoped they had amazing sound and I could ignore the comfort (especially because at this point I thought I was just too picky and would never find the comfort I was looking for). The first thing I noticed is that they were so so quiet. There is a bass boost button which raises the volume, but then you can't use your custom EQs it's just loud overly bass boosted sound. The sound in general was decent, not as good as the Bose or XM4s but keep in mind these retail for $250 and Amazon has them for $200

Later the same day that I bought the XB900s I came across the H910ns for $120! I know this is cheaper than normal, but I know they can be ordered from Costco for $200. I picked them up to compare them to the XB900s. They were great! They weren't as padded as the XB900s but the ear cups had a lot of space for my ears (I should note that there is a piece of plastic inside the ear cups that sticks out farther than normal and if it stuck out any further I think these would be a no go for me). The sound quality is **very** close to the XM4s and I preferred the sound over the Bose headphones

Anyway, I hope this helps someone. I know it was lengthy and some people may think I'm crazy for purchasing and returning 4 sets of headphones before settling on the 5th. Some people prefer the XM4s over anything and that's that, but I think people should be aware that Sony has some really good things going on in their mid-tier lineup, so give them a shot if you're not sure you want to spend so much.  Another qualm with this device is that the wired microphone is essentially useless and poorly placed on the audio cable. It sits a little too far away from my mouth and barely picks up what I’m saying, this is common in most headphone and will probably remain this way for quite sometime, this microphone is definitely not as adaptive in comparison to other Bluetooth earbuds on the market. On the other hand, I personally think the EQ customization on the JBL My Headphones app is amazing and really allows for you to customize the listening experience for whatever situation you’re in, unfortunately there were some connectivity issues and the app lags and isn’t optimized well on PC, this is something I hope they fix in the future. Music sounds amazing on these headphones, there’s definitely a deep bass which allows for deep sounds

For a pair of studio branded headphones these could have been better if they were just louder like the bose 700 or sony xm4 then bose and sony would have had some real competition sadly these headphones are like kids Headphones that have a volume limiter on them or something jbl really could of made these louder like the competition

 The style of the club ones are exceptional. They are the perfect bluetooth dj headphones yet very comfortable and stylish. The Sony's are very nice as well and I like the Black and gold combo the use. I just prefer the look of the JBL'S because they look different and cool

com is $240 US dollars which is $160 less than the $400 that is the going rate for this. So I think it is fair to have slight quibbles about the value of the HD 600 right now at $400. At $300 it's getting a little bit it makes a little bit more sense I think at least in my opinion it does. But $400 could be just a bit on the high side

 What kind of music are you into? I think the 6XX at least for my preferences is a little bit better for things like classic rock heavy metal. If you're going to listen to hip hop EDM that sort of thing on either of these the 6XX is going to handle a little bit better because of the added warmth and a slightly more bass presence all that it just feels a little fuller warmer handles genres like that a little better. If you're going to be listening to a lot of vocal and acoustic music I think the 600 is probably the winner there they both sound really good for like all the genres of music that I mentioned earlier. But I think just because of their slightly different tunings the HD 6XX is matched a little bit better to rock metal those kinds of things and the HD 600 is matched a little bit better to vocal music, choral music, string quartets, folk rock, acoustic guitar and vocal kinds of performances like a Jason Isbell kind of a thing

 The original HD 600 is a legend in our hobby and its design and its sound has stood the test of time. This is one of the newer versions that has been released and I don't remember exactly when these came out but within the past 2-3 years they came up with that slightly revised model that has the little bit different styling on the headband and in the colorway and that sort of thing. This is one of the newer HD 600s but nonetheless I have wanted to hear one of the HD 600s for a long time so when a friend of mine offered these for sale at a really good price I jumped on it and now you get to hear my review of this. So like I just said this I bought used from a friend

 The last thing that I want to say here before I go is I do want to say something about the price here. $400 this is an excellent headphone $400 might be just a little on the steep side I think and that is because of the existence of this. They are technically very similar like their technical capability here between these two is almost dead even in every way. Their primary difference being the tuning which I think creates a perception of a slightly more intimate presentation here than here at least spatially intimate not necessarily vocally intimate but spatially intimate

 Something like that. Again I will do a deeper dive into the direct comparisons of these and the other Sennheisers in a short in a near term future video I hope. The last thing that I want to say here before I go is I do want to say something about the price here. $400 this is an excellent headphone $400 might be just a little on the steep side I think and that is because of the existence of this

 Clearly the Grado's at $100 are the least expensive with the Momentum jumping up markedly to $299, while the more recently acquired Sennheiser HD600 hit the $400 mark. When a number of them are playing notes together the Grado's sounded smeared compared to the HD600s. Not unlike a poorly created JPEG from a digital point-n-shoot versus a well-made JPEG from an original RAW processed via Adobe Lightroom. Details are are lost in the former, but the latter does a far superior job of keeping the detail even in the process of losing information

 Maybe cheap even. They do not creak and nothing flexes, but it's the only part which lets me down at all about the headphones.  The included box, while awesome for storage, is clearly not oriented for travel. But I would argue these aren't portable headphones meant for the on-the-go user

 They do not fold up. The ear cups do not turn to lay flat. And considering the amplification needed to properly drive these, using a typical portable music player (your cell phone, iPod, etc.) isn't ideal anyway

All the very positive reviews cannot be wrong.... and they aren't
