There&rsquo;s not too much audible hiss created by the ANC (though there is some, which is common). And the noise cancellation doesn&rsquo;t seem to change the sound signature too much when it&rsquo;s engaged, which is another common pitfall of wireless ANC models. 

 The right earcup houses volume up/down buttons, a central playback/call management button (that also summons Siri), a USB-C port for the included charging cable, and another connection for the included audio cables&mdash;they can attach to either ear. 

On Jay-Z and Kanye West&rsquo;s &ldquo;No Church in the Wild,&rdquo; the kick drum loop receives plenty of high-mid presence, allowing it to retain its punchiness, while the vinyl crackle and hiss that&rsquo;s usually relegated to background status takes a step forward in the mix. I also have the AirPods Max, AirPods Pro, iSine20, JBL Club One and ORA GQ (for my wireless stuffs)

The sport buds are less great at calls and would be generally less useful than they currently are to me without my 2 AirPods options.

I tend to use the AirPods for work and quite often around the house and sports buds for working out or times when I want an energy boost from my music.

Let's just say I love my SoundSport Free earbuds, but my left earbud is incapable of holing a charge of more than a couple minutes. (I'm on my cell, do I hope formatting won't get too messy). 

- I like how they fit. 
- I like that they come with different size silicone buds so I can see which fits the best. 
- I like that they sound great. 
- I like the little case for charging on the go. 
- I like that they last a few hours (except the broken one) 
- and I like they they are pretty reliable, doesn't matter if I listen to videos, audiobooks, music, or am on a call. 

Well let's just say I really like them. 
But they ain't supported anymore. 
No software update that fixes the issue I got with the left earbud.

So, if you upgraded to newer wireless earbud options, how do they compare? What do you like/dislike about them?

I have the JBL Club Ones, and while the Bluetooth is actually pretty decent sounding and plenty good for my taste, the headphones are actually Hi-Res certified when using the aux cord, and it always sounds much better when I do. 

Wired headsets inherently have better audio quality than Bluetooth. It's just how it is. The aux cord just straight up transmits the music, whereas with Bluetooth, the music has to be compressed into a certain format in order to be transmitted from the device to the headset, and then the headset has to "read" all the info there and turn it back into the music. 

I know the club 950s have good sound quality as well, and I believe they have a bass boost button of something, which the Ones don't have.

The aux cord just straight up transmits the music, whereas with Bluetooth, the music has to be compressed into a certain format in order to be transmitted from the device to the headset, and then the headset has to "read" all the info there and turn it back into the music.

So I just got the Tune 750 and the bass was awful in Bluetooth mode. I had a wired JBL headphones before and it sounded way better than this. when I plugged the wire in the audio jack, the bass had much better quality. Is there always this difference in bass when using the wire and when using on Bluetooth? I'm thinking of returning it and just getting myself wired headphones cause I like my bass and thought it'd be as good as my old ones.

Disparity in music with and without wire in Tune 750 BTNC

So it is understood, my priorities were comfort, value, and sound quality, then features and style, and then noise canceling. We all know the Bose 700NC and Sony XM4s have the best NC but it has always just been an appreciated feature for me. 

 These headphones looked awesome and I wanted them to be the ones so I hoped they had amazing sound and I could ignore the comfort (especially because at this point I thought I was just too picky and would never find the comfort I was looking for). The first thing I noticed is that they were so so quiet. There is a bass boost button which raises the volume, but then you can't use your custom EQs it's just loud overly bass boosted sound. The sound in general was decent, not as good as the Bose or XM4s but keep in mind these retail for $250 and Amazon has them for $200

Later the same day that I bought the XB900s I came across the H910ns for $120! I know this is cheaper than normal, but I know they can be ordered from Costco for $200. I picked them up to compare them to the XB900s. They were great! They weren't as padded as the XB900s but the ear cups had a lot of space for my ears (I should note that there is a piece of plastic inside the ear cups that sticks out farther than normal and if it stuck out any further I think these would be a no go for me). The sound quality is **very** close to the XM4s and I preferred the sound over the Bose headphones

Anyway, I hope this helps someone. I know it was lengthy and some people may think I'm crazy for purchasing and returning 4 sets of headphones before settling on the 5th. Some people prefer the XM4s over anything and that's that, but I think people should be aware that Sony has some really good things going on in their mid-tier lineup, so give them a shot if you're not sure you want to spend so much.  Another qualm with this device is that the wired microphone is essentially useless and poorly placed on the audio cable. It sits a little too far away from my mouth and barely picks up what I’m saying, this is common in most headphone and will probably remain this way for quite sometime, this microphone is definitely not as adaptive in comparison to other Bluetooth earbuds on the market. On the other hand, I personally think the EQ customization on the JBL My Headphones app is amazing and really allows for you to customize the listening experience for whatever situation you’re in, unfortunately there were some connectivity issues and the app lags and isn’t optimized well on PC, this is something I hope they fix in the future. Music sounds amazing on these headphones, there’s definitely a deep bass which allows for deep sounds

The Sony MDR-7506 are the best headphones for recording that we've tested. These headphones have a closed-back design, which helps lower the risk of your audio bleeding into a recording. They also have a decently comfortable fit that's well-built.

These retro over-ears deliver audio consistently across reseats and have a neutral sound profile. Although they have a touch of extra thump, rumble, and boom to their sound, it doesn't overwhelm vocals and lead instruments. The mid-range is very flat, so they're accurately reproduced. Their coiled audio cable also helps prevent tangles if you like to move around the studio.

Unfortunately, they struggle to block out ambient noise like ambient chatter. Their build also feels plasticky and cheap, so they can make a creaking sound when you put them on your head. However, if you don't mind their build, they offer a well-balanced sound suitable for recording.
