The JBL Quantum One is a stealthily flashy gaming headset. When unplugged, it looks like a humble black pair of over-ear headphones, with rounded plastic edges and little of the industrial or sci-fi flair you often see with gaming headsets. Plug it in through the included puck-sized USB chat mixer and the USB-C port on the bottom of the left earcup, and that immediately changes.  It even has head tracking simulated surround, but it doesn't produce quite the same big, directional sound field effect as the Audeze Mobius and HyperX Cloud Orbit S. Overall, it's a very good headset with a steep price that pits it against stronger models like the Astro Gaming A40 and Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2 wired headsets, as well as the wireless SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless and Sennheiser GSP 670. 

Speaking of ANC, the Quantum One's noise cancellation circuitry is modest at best. It certainly tamped down outside noise (including the aforementioned nearby TV) in testing, but it isn't nearly as powerful or comprehensive across frequencies as noice-canceling models from Bose. To be fair, the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphone 700 and QuietComfort 35 both cost more than the Quantum One and don't attempt to fit most of the latter's tricks like head tracking, simulated surround sound, or programmable lighting. At this price, the noise cancellation is decent, but not great

My budget is around 20k. A bit of research points me to DT 990 premium 250ohm. I have a couple of concerns though 

1. For someone who has never owned headphones, is it worth it to spend this much on my first one? (In other words, are these for someone who is an audiophile or anyone can differentiate the sound quality when compared to a cheaper pair of headphones)
2. Can the PS5 fully utilize the potential of these headphones? Or a cheaper one will be good enough for my use case?

2 Proud new members of the Elite Pc gaming race

My G512 carbon keyboard was brilliant but i wanted something wireless as I often play more relaxed games in my bed w/ my TV, soi got a g915 as I wanted the num pad. But the G512 was perfect otherwise, I ended up selling it to my mate who's still using it now. Don't be scared by romer g keys they're fine.

But for headsets, Logitech is terrible, just awful. The 7:1 is good but so is every other brand, the RGB is basic and outdated, the G935 lack bass (933 didn't), they still use a micro usb (as does the rest of there range, its a bit tragic really) They are HUGE and rather uncomfortable over long times, the leather sucks ass and I ended up swapping my fabric 933 pads to it. And they removed the 3.5mm on the dongle! it was such a useful feature!! Plus in terms of software, the mic never worked, the buttons on the back never did anything unless bound to a logitech specific command, and the volume knob is so soft it just moves to easily, it it brushes your shirt collar prepare for ear rape

So yeah, overall, I'd recommend pretty much any of the wireless mice, any keyboard other than the G213(Yuk), and unfortunately I just cant recommend a headset from they as they really are just shit!

My current gaming setup is split between Razer and Logitech hardware. I have a Razer Kraken X, a Razer BlackWidow X, and a Logitech G502 HERO. The Kraken and BlackWidow have served me well in the time I've had them...but how did I end up with the G502?

Well, from my experience so far, Razer's headsets are good and their keyboards are excellent...but their mice are garbage. In the time I've had my BlackWidow, I've broken an Ouroboros and a Naga Trinity, and both of them had the same problem: after just a handful of months of use, their left mouse buttons started herp derping, sometimes not registering clicks and other times registering several at once. No solutions that I googled or were given by Razer themselves worked.

Fed up with Razer's mice after my Naga Trinity ended its fairly short lifespan, I bought myself a Logitech G502 HERO and was pretty impressed. It had a few features over my Razer mice that I liked: adjustable weight and the ability to toggle between notched and smooth scrolling, for example. And I've had it for probably longer than both my Razer mice combined and have experienced no issues with it whatsoever.

The problem with a setup like mine though is that I need to have two device managers running at the same time for my peripherals, and I can't get their lighting to sync up because obviously two competitors' products aren't going to play nice with each other. So that's when I decided: If Razer's hardware cannot cover all bases, I'm (eventually) switching to hardware that can.

And that's where the title comes in. Despite having had my G502 for a long time, I'm still pretty unfamiliar with the Logitech ecosystem. In short: I'm looking for a keyboard and headset to match my mouse.

For the keyboard, ideally I'll have something comparable to my BlackWidow. That is, USB connection, numerical keypad included, RGB lighting. Also, the BlackWidow's keys are very tactile and clicky, which makes them satisfying to press. Not essential for my Logitech, but would make the experience more fun.

The headset is a similar story: I'm looking for something that completely envelops my ears, has a mic attached by that little arm (Idk what it's actually called), decent bass, and a volume wheel and mic mute switch. Also, a 3.5mm jack is a must; batteries and latency suck.

Any help is much appreciated, as well as just the fact that you read this far!

What keyboards and headsets can you all recommend?

Going into standby and turning back on, turning them off and back on and using the windows volume regulator to change their volume and vice versa all works with no issues at all. I'm hopeful this will work for others aswell.

After looking for some headphones for gaming and laptop use, I arrived to this pair. The aesthetics got my attention, from the size of the drivers (50mm with a frequency range of 20Hz-40KHz), to the customizable lighting effects that surround the outside of the drivers and the logo.  Sound performance: The noise cancellation increases the feel of the bass on lower frequency’s, but does not diminish the higher frequency sounds. While playing Streets of Rage 4, I was able to appreciate more the ambient sound as you walk through the city and sewer levels

 In comparison to B&W CM5 that I use for speakers the Quantum One’s had a better mid range, but it’s to be expected from headphones as larger speakers and separate subwoofer dull out some of the mid range. The microphone was clear and crisp to the other players. And did not pick up any ambient sound.  Comfort: The headphones never felt heavy (369g) even after 3 hours of online matches

Almost there....

 Now that it is corrected, I have amended my review of the headset to 4 stars. The reason that I did not give it 5 stars is because, well honestly for the main reason the price is high for a set that is wired. The other issue I found in my short time of using them is that the software/control panel for the LED lights is a little difficult to get the hang of. Could use an easier interface for editing the color and movement

Now that it is corrected, I have amended my review of the headset to 4 stars.  1 of the main reasons I purchased this headset was purely because they were wireless. So hopefully you will see this review before you complete your purchase if you are looking for a wireless headset. They do have good sound, comfort and noise cancellation from the few minutes that I tested them. I did not pay close enough attention when unpacking them to realize it before opening them

 I plugged them in and used them in what I thought was their wireless ability to hear them while I assumed they were charging and configuring the profiles via the software. It was later in the 1st evening that I thought I was loosing my mind trying to find how to pair them with my PC and phone etc. So if you purchased them as I did without reading this review first, you're not the only one who made the mistake. I also found it interesting that I do not think there is another review that points this out

These wired headphones have a boom mic that you can remove when not in use, which you might prefer if you're looking for headphones that are suitable for gaming and more casual use, like listening to music at work.
