Keychron K7 vs Keychron Q1

Looks like this uses the same low profile switches from the K3 and K7 - we’re getting close to my perfect keyboard here!

Thanks to the low-profile keycaps and switches, this board is comfortable to use without a wrist rest, as you don't have to extend your wrists upwards to use it. Its thin profile is also nice if you want a board to carry around as it doesn't take up too much space. The full RGB backlighting illuminates the keys well, so you can see them in the dark, and you can even program some lighting effects directly on the board.

I want something with more of a bump and more force to actuate. I'm a touch typist on pretty much any other keyboard but I find myself mistyping so much on this thing.

Are the keycaps interchangeable with Cherry keycaps (I've been told Gateron keys are Cherry clones...)?

These caps would definitely be going on my Keychron Q1! I just got it and have been looking for a set :)

So just leave it plugged in right? Well yes but 2 things: the USB c connection isnt the most snug and did disconnect when testing, if I didn't deliberately push it in firmly. Second, the led charging indicator stays on green, even when maxed out, always. So it ruins the look to have the green led shining on the desk. You could put a tiny piece black electrical tape but still, not a good design decision

Unfortunately, there's no proprietary customization software, so you can't remap the keys without installing a third-party program.

Now the gm mk pro oh boy, it costs 20 more than the q1 coming in at 169. Us and it has a rotary knob on the top right corner, as well as acrylic diffu...

Love to type on it. Bluetooth is nice connects quick and easy. Batttery will get entire workweek from it 40 hours. I got the light blue, nice weight to the key

If the key does not actually WORK, then the keyboard is a FAILURE. Apparently, they do not conform to the USB HID specification. Not worth any price.

This is kilmatt 50mm noise dampener, the stuff is thin. One millimeter thin it dampens the ping better than foam and doesn't take up much space at all...
