You're better off with a discrete (separate from Bluetooth) wireless setup like you might find with the Audeze Penrose or HyperX Cloud 2 Wireless, or even just the Modmic Wireless as an add-on to almost any pair of headphones, if you absolutely must be wireless. Otherwise, you're likely going to need to go wired for better quality.

Those raised hunks of plastic actually make the thin dials tough to discern and adjust. Otherwise, it’s easy to take advantage of the Penrose’s main features, like being able to mute the mic with the switch on the left ear cup’s outer shell, or switching wireless modes with the multifunction button near where the detachable mic plugs in. The Penrose isn’t the only headset that lets you connect to a phone via Bluetooth while also being connected to your game console, but I think the execution here is great

Super crunchy, lots of instruments to pick out, reasonable range. Really easy to just drop into a meaningless fuzz but everything resolves as I'd expect. If the high end is too hot the solo can be a bit much but that's not usually a problem with Audeze and it wasn't for the Penrose.

Back to the Penrose, since I rely on headphones all day, I can first and foremost say, I'm very impressed with the boom mic quality. Blows my A7's out of the water, the sound quality is amazing and already coworkers and customers have said the quality is night and day.
