Beyerdynamic DT 770 Studio Review
If we had a time machine, we would give the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Studio our Editors' Choice award when they were first released in the 80s, but take this review as confirmation that they still hold their ground against newcomers today. The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Studio headphones are a classic that are still relevant thanks to excellent audio performance, a stable fit, and a reasonable price for what you get. ($150) Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro: might be a bit bright, very comfortable and light clamp, a bit bassy but have a really wide soundstage (how much out of the head music sounds) for a closed back. You can also look into iems as they'll be more comfortable for glasses.
Beyerdynamic DT 770 Studio review: Audiophile sound without the pricetag
Sarah Tew/CNETThe DT 770 headphones make their professional-use origins known, from the rigid plastic cups to the padded headband and snaking internal cables. The headphones feel solid, while also remaining lightweight and offering a luxurious fit.
* BeyerDynamic DT 770 Pro. * Sennheiser HD 200 Pro. * Sennheiser HD 559. so, am I in for a surprise is it **that** much of a difference between headsets and headphones overall.
Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO
The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro are well-built, durable and great-sounding closed-back headphones. They're a bit more versatile and have a slightly better Bass than the DT 990 PRO or DT 880 thanks to their closed-back design. However, they still leak a bit too much for quieter environments, and they're somewhat cumbersome to carry on you if you don't have a bag.
* Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro (a very solid option with a rather strong bass response but way less spacing/staging than its open back counterpart, the 990 Pro, for about 120€/$). * Beyerdynamic DT 880 (while not a closed back headphone but a semi-opnen/closed one i ll mention this option as far as this is the middle ground between the 770 Pro and the 990 Pro for about 150€/$.
