 It worked great - until the dough hook suddenly snapped after just 6 months of use. I did use it at the recommended speeds for the dough hook. I knew that at this price it wouldn't be as robust as a more expensive one, but I did expect more than 6 months out of it. No way that I can see to get a replacement dough hook, which is a pity, as the motor is still fine and the other attachments are still fine

Cheap and don't expect it to last

 I had to push the top down while it was mixing so that it would reach the bottom. I even scraped the bowl to help, but if it doesn’t reach it isn’t going to do much. I guess I shouldn’t have expected it to be perfect considering It’s a cheaper mixer. For the price it works ok

 My husband took it apart and fixed it. After about a year it started leaking out a black grease substance at the agitator part where the attachments go. I purchased a second one hoping things had improved with the mixers but after a few days I noticed the black grease stuff coming from the new mixer as well. It contaminated my buttercream icing getting black grease all in it! Very disappointed and sending it back! It seems to do ok on small batches of cake batter but don't even think about making icing or dough because it just has to work too hard causing the grease to come out more

Love the Big Mixing Bowl

I bought this mixer in December 2019 because I needed one with larger capacity. I am pleased to say that even though it may not be as heavy duty as the Kitchenaid or some others, I love the size because it allows me to double my recipes easily. It is also not very noisy. My only qualm with it is that it suctions so easily and tight to the surface that you have to pull hard to lift it; I guess the plus to that is that the mixer does not move during mixing

 I'm going to try one more time. If the same thing happens I'll be returning it as it is not mixing completely.

 When I poured the batter out to roll them out there were two places that did not mix. One of them had the flavoring bunched up in one spot and another had a bunched up flour that did not mix.  If I were to buy this product again, I would opt for a smaller bowl, perhaps 5.5 qt. or 6 qt. The larger size is a little cumbersome and unnecessary for most recipes

Good Product for Occasional Bakers

 Would like a smaller bowl but it is not available. The top does not go back far enough to easily get attachments in before lowering into bowl. Very little space between top of mixer and side of bowl to easily add ingredients while mixer is going.
