 Safety. We did multiple reviews, we watched a ton of youtube videos and the amount of just positive feedback that we got from other people seemed to be why we went more towards the Cybex. In addition to what Nicole said, we also were very worried about making our life easier and also finding something that was lightweight. We'll definitely get into each category, so the next category we'll get into is material, so let's go into that and then we'll touch base into everything else

 Let's do it. So now we're going to go over a little bit of why we really wanted to pick the Cybex Etan Ii. I really, first of all liked the material of the of the car seat. It definitely gave you, um, kind of the feel that they took their time to build this thing and to make it so that when you do have your baby inside that they're going to be comfortable

 Sometimes it doesn't it's not as easy, it kind of gets stuck on each other because they are so close together and vice versa. When you're going to put down the handle, you have to put the visor down first. Sometimes it's just it's a little tricky it doesn't smooth transition and then another drawback would be I have really short arms so when the car seat is on the stroller, there's two buttons on the side that you have to press. they're not memory buttons and so you have to push them together to be able to pull up the car seat

 But the car seat? Um, very nice. Uh, you know, and making our life easier. So one of the features that I really, really like is the fact that it's super lightweight. I don't really have a lot of muscle

It comes with the stroller frame, bassinet and rumble seat. It also has the option to turn into a double stroller down the road and possibly fit a third kid on the stand up on the back of it. For the car seat we’re going with the cybex Aton 2 because it fits our stroller and has amazing reviews and safety features.

I need your help. I’m not sure if I’m late to the game since I am due December 24th, 2021.. but I really don’t want to spend like $1700 on a car seat and stroller just for a brand name. Please help out a mama :)) what did you ladies go for? I’m a FTM! So I’m very new to everything haha did you guys also buy a bassinet or just said “screw it, crib you go baby”

 Seeing this makes me want to go check out the 2nd seat. Will update this review for functionality if I choose to keep this seat. Just very disappointed and wanted to return it the moment I pulled it out of the package.  Update: I went out and bought the Chicco KeyFit 30 for $229 from Target to see if it would be better - great crash test scores

The material is soft and looks easily cleaned, the warning labels are a muted yellow, and it has a cozy newborn insert.

I just received my $300 Cybex Aton 2 baby car seat and it has 2 huge warning labels right on the front! This is not in any of the pictures. And the fabric is weird, it catches on my skin when I touched it and up close, right out of the box and bag, it already looks like it’s collecting particles. I picked this car seat specifically for the crash test ratings, but this is definitely not the quality that I was expecting! I am a first time grandma and I am not wanting all my pictures to be full of bright warning labels and am needing durable material that feels nice. Wicked frustrated that the photos on Amazon do not correctly represent what is being sent out to the consumer

Comfy and nice safety features. However the sun shade is too short she doesn’t stay forward firmly; it’s very loose. Hardware for the umbrella broke; cybex replaced it. The strap to tighten them in is very tense and hard to do

 I got a carrier cover so that will help. Hopefully they redo the style and put in a better canopy.

 It sits onto the adapter but it won’t click in. I decided not to get a cybex stroller bc of the cost of them with the fact that they don’t seem like they would hold up to 2+ walks a day. Because of the crash test rating on the car seat I am NOT getting rid of it … we’ll just keep looking for a cheap snap n go (I’ve had issues finding one that works with the carseat also) to toss in the trunk until the baby is big enough to just move over to the stroller. I’m due June 2022 and when I saw the crash test ratings for this year I obviously couldn’t help but get this. I’m not sure why I don’t hear more about it and people having it. I have the Mockingbird stroller and read somewhere that Maxi Cosi adapters work with Cybex … my Cybex Aton 2 does NOT working with the Mockingbird Stroller’s Maxi Cosi infant car seat adapter. I was super bummed
