Engage Pursuit EX 6.0

Newer racquet sports players probably don't know what this means. After many demos, I found some of that feedback I want from the Pursuit EX 6.0. One paddle I've tried that I think has above average pop is the Rogue2 (hybrid shape) when the strike is in the sweet spot. By going with an elongated paddle, you can also get a little more ball speed potential (that's because the tip is farther from your wrist and has a higher speed).

It's a power paddle but you could just feel how quality the engineering of this paddle was. The spin was hands-down the best of any demo. The power and pop takes some time and skill to reign in but once you get it, I can see why so many people who medal in tournaments and do the "paddle holding the medal" pose are doting the signature "Engage target" logo. I loved this paddle so much so that I went and ordered the Engage EX 6.0 on their website to try as my paddle choice.

Engage Pursuit Ex 6.0. Prince Spectrum Pro. Right now my two favorites are the Warrior Edge and the Pursuit Ex. For me personally, I found these two paddles to have the best balance of power, control, and spin.

I ended up with an Engage Pursuit EX 6.0 which almost doesn't have enough room (I might get a longer handled grip/paddle if I play more singles). My tennis racquets are \~11.8 oz so because paddles are so short, the swingweight is really low and you can play with a paddle that some PB players think are heavy (e.g. 8ozs+) and still have fast hands at the net. An inexpensive paddle I could control well was the Franklin X-1000 but it didn't have that buttery-soft feeling.

But I tried Engage Pursuit MX 6.0 and thin EX. I play Electrum Pro last 6 months. So Pursuit is the first paddle close to Electrum on spinning scale. As new Electrum Pro is less gritty, I'd say Pursuit spins even better.
