Very good headphones. I had the Sony MDR V6, which it finally appears after like almost 35 years Sony has stopped making.

I have a relatively robust collection of headphones, but it all started when my Step-Dad gifted me these Sony MDR-V6. I cherish them, but feel that they are a little neglected. I'd like to give them the attention they deserve.

Nothing is recessed. So far I think I enjoyed listening to my MDR V6 more honestly, and have the CD900ST on order to compare.

Paired with my Sony MDR-V6 Studio headphones for sound-critical sit-down titles, there is no competition that even exists for the sort of titles I play. And it's priced significantly less than the 8KX, which is the only other HMD I considered to be competitive, but was missing the wireless support and pixel density.
