Although I am not a TP Link user, I can say that using static IPs for my main HomeKit hub and every other smart home hub went a loooong way to alleviating the No Response issue.

Works ok but I never understand why wi-fi routers don't provide a stronger signal/connection. I have 100 mbps internet but only register about 51 mbps download and 10 mbps upload with the wi-fi unit.

I have TP Link and they work in lamps as well as light fixtures. No problems. I did have an easier time after I sat down and actually read the instructions for installing them.
