(score: 90/100 points) Pros –It does a variety of tasks really good with no real weakness at anything. It’s best for listening enjoyment…not professional studio monitoring as advertised. It has very warm sounding vocals, a balanced sound (with very slight favor to lower mid range & upper bass), and comfortable (loose) fit on my ears/head. It handles thick, polyphonic music passages with ease without distortion…while keeping the main melody/vocals volume and tone quality still cutting through with warmth

However, they are quite a bit tighter than other Sennheiser headphones we've tested, like the Sennheiser HD 650. They won’t be great for any other use as their open design doesn’t block any noise and leaks a lot, so they're best used in a quiet listening room where you can really benefit from their sound quality.

If you are a travelling person that is exposed to lots of noisy situations the qc15 or the and-9's are the better fit for you. I myself transit much of the time. However, the loudness at which I play my music blocks out much of the noise (with the m50s which is around 50%). It all depends on how much noise that surrounds an individual

Sound cancellation is good. No ANC but great passive, probably due to the shape of the body which fills up your entire ear.

They are a bit muted in the sound signature which can make them less fatiguing than other, more analytical, headphones. Mids - A bit to high level for me, it tended to make punk rock music sound very close and muddied Lows - A bit boomy but very spacious Audio Technica ATH M-50x Highs - Quite good representation, a bit cold though Mids - Nothing special, no major issues though Lows - Too over-emphasized -----------------Comfort--------------- Beyerdynamic DT 770 - Winner Perfect. Pros: - The most comfortable pair of headphones I've ever worn. To elaborate, I could wear these things until my hands fell off from gaming or other things ;) (aprox. 2 to 3 days but don't try) and I still wouldn't have realized I was wearing them. - Long aux cord makes getting up from my pc to grab something, seamless, without having to take off headphones every single time

No scratches, no loosened parts, no cracks, NOTHING. These are SOLID. If you were to choose one last pair of headphones and head out to Narnia where you won't be buying any new ones any time soon, these would be the ones. I would consider [Audio Technica its $180 usd on Amazon and has the luxury of being wireless but with the option for a wired connection as well. They are more neutral sound wise but i go running in them while mainly listening to deep house, hip hop and a little bit of soul, i find the bass isn't really lacking and the isolation is pretty good but if they are a bit bright and or the isolation isn't quite where you want you could look into getting some replacement pads like Dekoni elite sheepskins later down the line to increase both bass and isolation

Qudelix 5k for bluetooth and travel purposes and a Fiio K3 for laptop use.(I might sell K3 and go for iFi Hip Dac v1/v2 - not yet sure about that)
