The footage captured by the 2MP camera, while you can tell it's been captured by a bargain bin device, is certainly passable again considering the price point and while you won't be dropping these shots into any professional video productions they're a fun little add-on, especially as a crash cam. It also seems like maybe they've got the HD/SD shipping mixups worked out now. I was worried about this when buying, but I did get what I ordered. The 2MP model has the "HD" camera graphic clearly printed on the box, so you can be reasonably sure without opening the package if you got the right model

Pluses for me are the size and portability. I have been transporting tons of gear with me for years so It's not really a hassle but if I wanted to go out to the woods or something hulking around my Inspire or M600 is a definite NO thanks! Yes the image quality is infinitely better the Mavic 3 but sometimes I do like to chill with a Air2s or Autel Evo 6k.

This tiny quadcopter is well designed and reasonably sturdy. The controls take getting used to - it's nothing like driving a car. But once you have the power sorted out from directional control, you'll start to have fun. When you're starting out, always face the copter in the same direction you're facing

Also you have zero control over photos and videos on the zoom lens. Auto only mode and JPG only. Maybe fixable in a firmware update? Also, you can't do a full 1x-28x or vice versa smoothly, at one or two points the recording blacks out (while switching lenses?) It is also near impossible to zoom with your finger on the app and do other things smoothly (especially if you have a hood on your tablet), which is the only way to do it unless you shelled out the extra 1200 for the “pro” controller. 5) Gimbal rubs against arms when folded up 6) No dual controller support (maybe this could be a firmware update?) Issues that I found right off that bat that might be able to be updated in firmware if DJI chose to do so (that hands down should be available in a pro drone) 1) No color graded preview for DLOG on your tablet/phone

Hubsan X4 was the quad I started from years ago, and it was perfect for a kid - simple control, inexpensive, and lots of fun.

This may be controversial here but as a working professional drone operator, the Mavic 3 cine model and combo is not overly priced for what you get. I wish I could have gotten rid of the bag from the combo though. As soon as this drone gets to me it’s going straight into a pelican case and I’m going to sell that bag to off set the cost of the pelican case.

I understand that some people got sent the regular SD cam model, so make sure when you receive yours that it says HD Camera on the package (shouldn't be a problem). I believe that the regular SD camera model is about $60 at the time of me writing this, and the HD model is abouy $80, both with Prime shipping. So, the difference is about $20, and you have to decide for yourself whether or not you think the better camera is worth $20. For me, it was

When you have an incidental landing but everything looks OK, be sure to push the battery all the way back in before you give it another try. The battery being part way out can really screw up the center of gravity and your Valium frog may only get one hop. Mark one side of the connectors on the batteries, chargers, and X4 with permanent marker. The little tab that can only go one way is really hard to see

Put about 1000 miles or 350 flights on my mavicn2 pro over the past few years, its been amazing never any issues.

.Plus they have shorter flying time. Look for the Tenergy ones as they are consistently good and ship way quicker

For this model line and price this is as good as it gets. Battery life is perfect. I get so much time on this battery my legs hurt from standing. I only have one battery though

now that being said i bought 5 extra battery's also the crash kit and the extra ring... now on the controller you will need 4 AAA battery's i am new to this so i don't take it up high and don't panic when the wind blows it off course a little
