The headset's general sound signature leans towards the bass-heavy end, and even using the Music EQ mode to sculpt the higher frequencies doesn't change that much. The opening acoustic guitar plucks in Yes' "Roundabout" get some string texture in the highs, but the lower resonance comes through with much more power. When the electric bass kicks in, it stands front and center in the mix, pushing the guitar strums and vocals slightly to the back. The higher-frequency elements of the mix aren't completely overcome by the bass, but they do take a back seat to the lower frequencies

 The mic picked up a bit of office chatter by default, but an Active Noise Cancellation option in Razer Synapse blocked out the chatter completely.  My audiophile buddy explained that this Razer mic doesn't pick up on all the bass frequencies like some others do. Could be the mic, or the tiny hole they use at the mic location that prevents all the Soundwaves from reaching the mic. My testing also revealed this, but its something I gave it up for my online buddies so that they could hear me better.  The next point is that headband is not tight enough to allow a good enough Ambient Noise Cancelling for the price

 The ear cushions seem great for it, but since the fit is a bit loose it kind of loses its effectiveness.  The mute button is definitely not that great. It's a small button on the mic itself, so you won't accidentally hit it. There just isn't a whole lot of feed back when you do have to hit the mic

My Logitech Artemis finally died after years of service, and I decided to try these as I have had nothing but poor luck with the GHUB software in the past so was not interested in getting stuck with it going forward.  The way the large earpads cover your entire ear can make wearing eye glasses with these a bit uncomfortable. Compared to my previous these feel a bit lighter and did take some getting used to comfort wise. After getting used to them however, I found them more comfortable over long periods than my previous set

 This review is getting notice so I figured I might as well update. I'm able to wear this with my glasses for long periods, I game daily with friends talking etc. I find them to be quite comfortable. As far as discord goes, I only got the error of my friends not being able to hear me a couple of times

I've only had this headset for around 24 hours, and have worn it for about 5 hours straight this afternoon/night. Because I wear glasses, I've always had trouble wearing headphones/headsets for long periods of time, but this is the first one that I genuinely felt somewhat comfortable wearing after several hours. All the previous ones I had worn in the past would give me a sense of liberation after taking them off, but this is the first headset I've ever owned where I would actually be able to relax to music for hours on end, without desperately wishing to take them off to ease the pressure on my glasses asap. The cooling gel cushions are also a great feature, as I don't feel all sweaty when I take them off

 I couldn’t use the surround sound or whatever because it would crackle. New pc, maybe they’ll work, but razer mice and headphones are probably going to be a “fuck no” for me.

The first headset lasted me a long time and I enjoyed them, got the razer nari ultimate for $200 and they’re h o t garbage. They’re nice and comfortable when they work, but I had to have them plugged into the charger for them to work, and even then, it was only stereo. I couldn’t use the surround sound or whatever because it would crackle. New pc, maybe they’ll work, but razer mice and headphones are probably going to be a “fuck no” for me

 Recording or even speaking to others via the mic is like scanning old radio signals for air. I would care less about the mic if the sound quality was better; but, with both features operating like early developed radio systems, I would go a different route.  I would not recommend this product.

After having thoroughly tested this headset out in multiple configurations, via the associated software, I would have to say that it is sub-par for any user.  I like to take care of all my things, so physical damage is definitely not a possibility, I've never dropped the thing. I'm about to write to customer support, which I am guessing will be an arduous experience of me sending my headset in only to not see it for at least a month or so. When the consumer is paying this much for a "quality" product, you'd think it wouldn't crap out so soon.
