So to have an external mic, it's fantastic. Alright to conclude, this is an excellent mic with fantastic audio quality.

Again, I am blown away for $149 for this microphone. This is doing one hell of a job.

Though to get the sort of sound you're looking for, the mic kinda has to be close. Desktop / USB microphones are not generally designed to be used from afar, but for stuff like video conferencing it might be enough given that it'd be compressed anyway. Rode NT-USB, Audio-Technica AT2020USB, Elgato Wave 3, or even the Blue Yeti are quite well regarded.

I know it's a hair out of your price range, but the AT2020USB is one of the mostly highly rated budget friendly USB mics. They're very popular so you can probably find one used for under $100. Honestly though, what's more important than which mic you buy is how you use it. Good mic technique (keeping the mic close enough to you and equidistant from both speakers) will make a huge difference.

All headsets suck for microphone quality. That's just by virtue of how tiny they are. If you're looking for something that's decent, do yourself a favour and pick up some good headphones (people here are going to recommend AirPods Max for good reason) and a good external microphone. I personally use the AT2020USB+, but I'm no expert.
