Lamy vista

Got into this hobby about 2 months ago and only have 3 other pens: a Kaweco Sport (iridescent pearl - B), a Lamy Vista (M), and a Pilot Parallel (2.4 mm) for fun. This is my first pricier pen purchase and I couldn't be happier! Writes so smoothly, the gold has a lovely bit of bounce, and the bit of pencil-like feedback is delightful (I heard about that characteristic of sailor nibs prior to purchasing and, thankfully, enjoy it). No one I know in real life cares about fountain pens so I thought I'd share my joy with some internet strangers who understand!

6- Likes line variation. 7- I only have three pens at the moment; Lamy safari (F), Lamy vista (EF), and Lamy 2000 (EF). From Vista to 2000, I do notice a big positive jump in terms of writing experience. The 'architect grind' on the 2000 (EF) does make my writing looks nice, and I like it quite a lot.

Plastic vs metal is compete up to user. I hate Pilot Metro and the Lamy Safari/Vista is an okay pen that lets me switch nibs fast an explore what size I prefer but they dry out fast and are eh. TWSBIs on the other hand do not dry out fast cause they seal much better than Lamy/Metro. They aren’t without flaws or problems for people.

Apparently twsbis disintegrate into dust over time the lamy vista i bought has a wobbly nib and that isnt unusual according to many of you and on and on. Was looking at a Loom but now here the clips are kind of garbage.
